We stayed at PdM for 2 weeks in June 2016 and it was absolutely brilliant. We spent our time there with friends and family as we'd rented out all 8 villas for our wedding. Thank you to all the porta del mar team for helping us organise and provide the most perfect wedding. We spent a whole week with 30 of our closest friends and family relaxing in this gorgeous rustic understated beach resort, where we had the whole place to ourselves. Nothing was too much for tasos, kostas, pavelina, Heleina or Anna, and they all worked so hard to make our week perfect! The food was AMAZING! CONTACT

Contact us to discuss the details of the wedding reservation. If you are a group of 30 to 50 people we strongly recommend you to book all the villas. If you are over these numbers, don' t worry at all. We will help you arrange nearby accommodation.

BOOK

Confirm your booking as soon as your flights are available. We will secure your wedding date and time with the Mayors' office and send you your confirmation.

START PLANNING

Gather all the necessary documentation and send it to us scanned by e-mail. We should receive documents at least 21 days prior to your wedding date. In the meantime, our team would be pleased to introduce you the most exciting arrangements for your wedding of your dreams.

Can you assist in planning all the details about our wedding?

Yes, we can! Just inform us about your preferences and dreams and we will make it a reality.
Except for the Decorations of the wedding spot, tables and generally the space, our Chef is ready to meet your expectations and create a customized menu for you and your special guests.
In respect to the additional services, our team would be pleased to provide you with all detailed information and bring the most experienced professionals all over Zakynthos Island. Here is a list from all the services available to you that will fit your needs and dreams:

Where can we have our Wedding Ceremony and Reception?

Our place has various spots ideal for a Wedding ceremony according to the size of your wedding group. The Wedding reception will be at the Restaurant Area at our beautiful verandas just above the Ionian Sea.

What is the maximum number of guests that you can host for wedding?

All of our resort can accommodate up to 60 people in the villas and apartments.
The maximum capacity though for wedding guests is 120 people.

Can I book the whole resort for my Wedding? Will it be Private on my Wedding Day?

Of course! We offer a discount for wedding groups that book all of our accommodation and also on the Wedding day both the Hotel and the Restaurant will be private.

What documents shall we gather to perform an official (legal) wedding?

The following documents are required to perform a legal Civil Wedding in Zakynthos or elsewhere in Greece :
FOR EUROPEAN UNION CITIZENS:

Birth Certificates with an APOSTILLE stamp
A "Single Status" letter or letter of NO IMPENDIMENT endorsed with APOSTILLE stamp
"Single Status" is a document issued from your local Registrar and insures that there is no problem to get married.
Photocopies of passports
If divorced, then the divorce certificate is required with an APOSTILLE stamp

No need for an Apostille stamp if you are coming from Austria, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey and Poland)
That's all from you, we will handle all the other paper work and translations

Is our civil marriage in Greece and Zakynthos legal?

Yes, The Marriage Certificate is a legal document issued by The Greek Government and accepted internationally. You will sign the legal marriage license after the wedding ceremony and we will collect it form the Mayors' office the following day and deliver it to you.

We are just the couple and our children so we don't have two witnesses for the ceremony. Is this to worry about?

No problem, we will provide the witnesses.

Do you arrange religious weddings in Zakynthos?

Yes, we do arrange catholic (in Saint Marcos Catholic Church - Zante Town) and orthodox weddings (in Romantic little churches by the sea). Please contact us for the necessary details.

What is the best time to perform the ceremony?

We recommend before sunset so you have a background with magical colors. Of course, the ceremony can be any time that suits you best.
